2.3. Function of service

The content of the processing of each stratification hierarchy was clarified seven hierarchies. The CPU of high speed and a high function is used until arriving from CAD at NC and the function of the CPU will be being improved further in the future now. An old function consolidating type was reviewed to advance making to open and it was assumed the function decentralization type in each hierarchy. At defining the content of the processing, it was thought as follows.

• The content of the processing of each hierarchy is an independent function and facilitates the connection of the another and make facilitating a correction and changing concisely.
• The one that it is possible to make to intelligent by an instruction different in each machine which inputs by the data enables an automatic processing.
• In the content of the processing of each hierarchy, a peculiar technology of each is consolidated like MMI which operations assumes to be an emphasis it is easy to use, trajectory operation with high speed and signal operation which exchanges a signal with machine etc. The service function of each hierarchy which is basic of this open NC is shown in the following.

The processing in each hierarchy is made a module further. Each module is divided into a basic function as NC and the function which can be changed. There are modules in which translates the NC data and has the library which specify the movement of NC. The translation part can be common to any NC and the 5th layer can be used also for the machining centre and the lathe by replacing the library.
